Description
This auction is for the exact medal shown here. It was produced by Medallic Arts Co. and is made of silver. The edge of the medal reads 'Medallic Art Co. N.Y. .999+ pure silver'. The weight on my postal scales bounces between .9 oz and 1.0 oz. so that should give you a good idea of the weight.
I have just bought several medals of this brand and type, with many different designs. I will be listing them on ebay as I find time, so check back often.
